The Second City and the Venice of the Midlands are just two of the monikers of Birmingham, an alive and diverse city. The instantly recognisable discs of the Selfridges store at the Bull Ring juxtaposed with St. Martin’s Church only a few hundred yards away. Behinds these sits the bustling market which is filled with people selling anything from fabrics to food. This comes too with the expected plethora of activities to choose from.

The Birmingham Art Gallery and Museum hosts the Staffordshire Hoard exhibition of Saxon gold, while the Back to Backs are houses from another preserved in the centre of the city. As befits the heart of the Industrial Revolution, museums with a focus on industry and science include ThinkTank at Millennium Point, the National Motorcycle Museum, Cadbury World, the home of chocolate, and the Forge Mill Needle museum in Redditch.

Planters Sky Trail Adventure

Umberslade Farm Park

Young visitors have the opportunity to get close to a wide range of farm animals from the tiniest chickens to the statuesque Shire horses, with hands-on activities and play zones.

Plus indoor Egg Splat cannons and ride on tractors as well as two adventure play areas for different age groups and the tractor trailer ride.

Broomey Croft Childrens Farm

A nice little farm where you can meet and feed a variety of animals, including sheep,goats, pigs and chickens. Indoor play barn, pedal tractors, plus tractor and trailer rides around the farm. Dedicated area for children’s parties.

Lizzie's Farm

Liz Monk Studio Pottery & Gallery is situated on a picturesque traditional farm courtyard, set in the north Worcestershire countryside. Manor Farm is a working farm, where the Monk family have lived and made their livelihood for the past 35 years.

Forge Mill Museum and Bordesley Abbey

Forge Mill Needle Museum in Redditch is an unusual and fascinating place to visit. This historic site illustrates the rich heritage of the needle and fishing tackle industries.

Kingstanding Leisure Centre

Coughton Court

Coughton Court has been the home of the Throckmorton family since 1409. It holds a unique place in English history with its close connections to the Gunpowder Plot of 1605.

Lightwoods Park

Cole End Park LNR is situated within the larger Cole End Park, to the south of the River which runs through the park.

Abbey Green Park

Abbey Green Park is one of four green spaces in North Warwickshire dedicated as Local Nature Reserves.

Abbey Green LNR is situated within the larger Abbey Green Park along its northern boundary. A series of backwater channels connecting to the River Anker intersect the site. 

Middleton Hall

Middleton Hall is a "unique" Grade II-listed country house in Staffordshire. The hall shows evidence of several phases of English domestic architecture from the late thirteenth to the early nineteenth century. There is a fine Great Hall that is of Tudor origin, which makes a classic setting for weddings, for performances and for parties.

Umberslade Adventure Park

Umberslade Adventure is an outdoor play area set in an 80 acre woodland in the heart of Warwickshire, offering physical and educational activities for all ages.

Ragley Hall

Ragley Hall was first opened in 1958 and the State Rooms were gradually restored to their former glory. The 8th Marquess made his mark on Ragley by commissioning Graham Rust to create a modern mural, The Temptation, in the South Staircase Hall which took fourteen years to complete and features several family members and pets.

Boulder Central Indoor Climbing

Echills Wood Railway

When in full public service, the railway will operate a circular tour with optional change at picnic station for trains to Far Leys car park.

Tudor Grange Sports Centre

Standard swimming and teaching facility also with separate diving pool equipped with 1 and 3m springboards and a 5m platform. There are more sporting opportunities besides.
