Airborne Assault is the Regimental Museum of The Parachute Regiment and Airborne Forces and tells the stories of the soldiers who go to war from the air.

At Key Stage 5, pupils have a range of options available to them; A Levels, Baccalaureates (both English and International), BTECs and Scottish Higher National Certificates/Diplomas are just some of the qualifications open to the 17-18 age-group.
School trips can become even more tailored to suit interests at this level as student groups become smaller and more specialised. For example, one of the ultimate visits for sixth form scientists would be to the Cern Centre (Conseil Européen pour la Recherche Nucléaire) near Geneva, where scientists are daily investigating the fundamental structure of the universe.

The Royal Forest of Rockingham, a medieval hunting forest, is a beautiful patchwork of ancient woodlands and open agricultural land with historic features and attractive stone-built forest villages. Today the Forest offers visitors plenty of routes for walking, cycling and riding.

The Museum of the Adjutant General's Corps is situated in the Guard House of Peninsula Barracks in Winchester and is open on Tuesday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and entrance is free.

Clevedon Sailing Club is situated on the Marine Parade along the main Clevedon sea front. Sailing takes place in the bay which is part of the Bristol channel. Clevedon is a very friendly club and supports all water sports, with emphasis on Dinghy and Cruiser sailing.
Charterhouse offers groups sole use of the centre and can accommodate up to 63 people. It boasts a large dining hall with a modern kitchen, a visitors lounge and boot room, along with ample outdoor space and a designated camp fire area.

The sailing club exists to help people enjoy both sailing and windsurfing whatever your ability or age. Anyone is welcome to join and sail at Axbridge reservoir near Cheddar. Although the club atmosphere is relaxed, informal and friendly we aim to provide a professional environment for sports.

Washford Radio Museum is situated within the Tropiquaria wildlife park in Washford, Somerset. It is based in a 1930’s art deco BBC Radio transmitting station, which is now a Grade II listed building.
