Paul is an active mountaineer, walking, mountain biking and climbing whenever possible. For over fifteen years now he has been involved in Outdoor Education, delivering a wide range of experiences and challenges for schools, as well as many other organisations and groups, of all ages, ability and backgrounds.

At Key Stage 2 pupils will begin to adopt a more sophisticated approach to the core and foundation subjects.
In History, the requirement to study topics such as the Anglo-Saxon and Scots invasions and the Viking and Roman occupations creates many opportunities for school trips to some of the most important historical sites in the world, and a great variety of brilliant museums. There will always be a venue close by!
History trips can also be used in KS2 to develop pupils' 'use of geographical knowledge, understanding and skills to enhance their locational and place knowledge', one of the aims of the KS2 Geography curriculum. Such activities could also be linked to the national curriculum requirement to 'take part in outdoor and adventurous activity challenges both individually and within a team'.
But there are many other options for accessing imaginative and challenging activities from specialist providers. Some schools also like to organise short residential visits at for pupils at KS2 level to give classes a taster of new activities and team-working away from usual environments and families.

He also brings to the company a great enthusiasm for the outdoors and for working with people who want to enjoy the outdoors.
If you are looking for something new to do with kids then why not try a self guided, themed Treasure Trail! They offer an imaginative and fun way to explore, and learn about, the great outdoors.
The answers to the clues are located on existing monuments, buildings and structures: some are easy to find, some are a little bit trickier!
Extensive forest paths lead walkers through vast areas of mixed coniferous and broadleaf woodland. Path side vegetation management has provided the favoured habitats for butterflies and other flora and fauna. Follow the yellow waymarked path on an hour and a half walk around the forest to discover the variety.
The 11 acre sailing lake is used for the centre’s dinghy, kayak, windsurfing and powerboat courses, and the waters used for angling are well stocked. For the jogging enthusiast, keeping fit is a pleasure on the Trim Track, which is situated within the park.
If you’re interested in exciting adventurous activities both on and off the water look no further, located in the Crosby Coastal Park with access to a 70 acre lake, Crosby Lakeside is ideal for taking you first trip on the water or practicing your skills.
