Issues to Consider: Parking on the central roads can be tricky, but there are lots of small car parks throughout the town that are reasonably priced and often free in the evenings. The main central area around the River Avon has no barrier between the water and the ground thanks to the popular boat hire and cruise trade, so young children should be carefully supervised! The peak summer season can get very busy with tourists and holidaymakers, so booking tickets for events should be done well in advance - the busy nature of the town can make pickpocketing a risk, so be careful of crowds.
