Shrewsbury is a picturesque town, circled by the river Severn. The town’s most famous resident was Charles Darwin. You can discover a lot about his life by following the Darwin Trail around the town. Shrewsbury is filled with art galleries and in particular has a thriving contemporary arts scene.
Rural Shropshire offers plenty to get excited about from climbing the famous Wrekin hill to discovering the story of Clive of India in Market Drayton.

The Ceramic Collection is located in the Ceramic Gallery, Aberystwyth Arts Centre, where certain items from the collection are permanently on display. Some items are also on display at the School of Art. Items are also held in store in both locations.

As their fortunes rose and fell they proved themselves to be spenders, savers and saviours - providing a fascinating story of love and neglect whose mark still stands in Attingham’s rooms today.

Chris Hughes Multi Activity Services Limited (CHMAS) is a small UK family run business based in Shrewsbury, providing outdoor activity instruction for individuals, families and small groups. It was founded in 2006 by Chris and Janet Hughes, both of whom have been involved in the outdoors since childhood.
