Ilam Park, Dovedale and the White Peak

Situated in the spectacular setting of the Staffordshire and Derbyshire Peak District, Ilam Park makes an ideal base to explore the other parts of the White Peak area.

White Peak incorporates several key areas that are well worth a visit. These include: Dovedale; the Manifold Valley; Ilam Park; Ecton Mine, Stanton Moor Edge; Miller's Dale and Ravenstor; and High Wheeldon.

School Visits

A school visit to the White Peak area of the Peak District offers a wealth of new and memorable outdoor experiences for children of all ages.

Explore Dovedale valley, visit a Peak District farm, carry out a village survey in Ilam, or have a go at orienteering in Ilam Park.

Sessions are run outdoors, so a picnic lunch and waterproofs are essential throughout the year.
