At Key Stage 5, pupils have a range of options available to them; A Levels, Baccalaureates (both English and International), BTECs and Scottish Higher National Certificates/Diplomas are just some of the qualifications open to the 17-18 age-group.
School trips can become even more tailored to suit interests at this level as student groups become smaller and more specialised. For example, one of the ultimate visits for sixth form scientists would be to the Cern Centre (Conseil Européen pour la Recherche Nucléaire) near Geneva, where scientists are daily investigating the fundamental structure of the universe.

With over 5,000 creatures on display, a visit to SEA LIFE Charlotte-Concord Aquarium will engage your students' senses. In addition to the spectacular view from the underwater tunnel, children can get involved at the interactive rockpool by holding a crab or even touching a starfish.
Breathtaking stretch of silver sands surrounded by wildlife-rich dunes
The sandy beach is backed by dunes where a variety of flowers bloom: bluebells, cowslips, burnet roses and, to give it its common name, bloody cranesbill, amongst others.

Magnificent Edwardian gardens flowing from grand vistas to intimate spaces overlooked by a large mansion
Dyffryn Gardens are an exceptional example of Edwardian garden design. Covering more than 55 acres they feature a stunning collection of intimate garden rooms including a rose garden, Pompeian garden and several ponds.
The centre, with its dedicated classroom, is a great base for exploring the wonderful heath and woodland of Witley and Milford Commons. It has all the facilities you will need, including a fire circle, dipping ponds and den building area. There are toilets and large sinks for washing little hands, and parking for coaches.
