Centre for Computing History

The Cambridge Centre for Computing History was established as an educational charity to tell the story of the Information Age through exploring the historical, social and cultural impact of developments in personal computing. 

The computing industry has witnessed some of the biggest business successes and worst business decisions in history. It has spawned notorious legal battles, created the world’s wealthiest man and engendered breath-taking innovation.

There is now a generation growing up who know very little about the dawn of the Information Age. The Centre for Computing History tells that story.
