Our Buxton Tree Top Adventure is set in the heart of the beautiful Peak District National Park and within walking distance of the historic Spa town itself. One of the best days out in Derbyshire, you’ll enjoy high ropes, a zip wire and much much more.

The Go Ape experience involves fun and adventure across up to six sites. Each site features our award winning high ropes, awesome crossings, tunnels, bridges and an epic wind-in-your-face zip wire to finish.

In the Lake District in Cumbria, this extensive working mill produced literally millions of wooden bobbins vital to the Lancashire spinning and weaving industries.

The story of the Bobbin Mill is brought to life with a brand new exhibition. Visitors can also see the journey from tree to bobbin first hand during production on the original belt driven machinery. A hands-on family trail helps visitors to imagine what it was like to work at the mill.

Lakes formed from the flooding of a disused gravel pit, surrounded by woodland, wetland and meadow that supports a wide range of wildlife, with one mile surfaced path around the lake.

Local groups include model boating and angling regularly use this site. The site is managed for recreation and conservation by East Staffordshire Borough Council.

It supports a wide range of wildlife habitats including: the adjacent Trent & Mersey canal; hedges; woodland; a lake; and one of the largest reedbeds in Staffordshire.
